Frederic joined Earlybird in 2020 with the focus on pre-seed/seed investments in the Deep Tech sector. He currently serves on several boards of portfolio companies such as eleQtron and Greenlyte as well as the Management Board Deputy Spokesman for the German Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (BVK). Before joining Earlybird Frederic pursuit his own start-up in the clean energy sector and kicked of a micro VC.

He holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Design and Development, MSc equivalent) as well as Dr.-Ing. (PhD equivalent) in Production Engineering from the RWTH Aachen University.
