Moritz joined Earlybird in 2019 and is based in Berlin. Prior to Earlybird, he was the VP of Finance and a member of the global management team at the venture-backed Global Savings Group, which he joined while still attending business school.

During his time at Global Savings Group, Moritz gained entrepreneurial experience, building the company’s financial department and leading a team of 40 professionals. He also co-led several financing rounds, commercial debt restructurings, and M&A deals. Moritz holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from the Technical University of Brandenburg.
