Nikolaus joined Earlybird in 2023 and is based in Munich, where he focuses on investing in early-stage tech startups. He knows firsthand how challenging it can be to turn theory into practice when building a product. After completing his studies, he leveraged his experience in finance and machine learning to help shape EagleEye, Earlybird’s proprietary AI and data platform.

Today, he applies his technical know-how as an investor to spot and support the next wave of innovators.Nikolaus holds an MSc in Data Science from UCL as well as a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and Management and a BSc in Economics from TU Berlin. He held roles in private equity, quantitative investments and tech.
