eleQtron is engaged in the construction and commissioning of breakthrough quantum computers with trapped ions. It is a spinoff of the Chair of Quantum Optics at the University of Siegen. eleQtron has successfully implemented new methods for quantum information processing which eliminate the need for laser light for coherent control of quantum logic operations. Instead, qubits are controlled by radio frequency waves in novel ion processors using our proprietary MAGIC technology (Magnetic Gradient Induced Coupling). These processors enable individual control of qubits with the highest precision as well as of their interaction, and show a clear path towards massive scaling.
