Christian co-founded Earlybird in 1997 and brings over 27 years of entrepreneurial and investment experience. He focuses on the FinTech, InsureTech, and FoodTech verticals and currently serves on the boards of CrossEngage, Fraugster, Freeverse, FQX, Getsafe, N26, Ottonova, ShapeShift, Sikoia, and Smava.

Previously, Christian was Chairman of the Board at Tipp24 AG and Interhyp AG, both of which he successfully led to IPOs. Before Earlybird, Christian worked as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey, specializing in restructuring, strategy, and M&A projects across various industries.

He holds a Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur degree (Industrial Engineering, MSc equivalent) from the Technical University of Hamburg, with a focus on process engineering, and a PhD in Management from the University of St. Gallen.
